Cities for Action urges Trump Administration to bring an immediate end to the government shutdown

For 27 days, hard-working civil servants have struggled to meet their basic needs like food and health care, because the Trump Administration has decided these workers are political pawns for an ineffective and useless wall. Mayors and county executives from across the nation have seen first-hand the negative impacts this government shutdown has had, not only for these workers, but also for the communities they serve.

To the Trump administration: end this spectacle now. It’s time to unite our country.
