Cities for Action strongly opposes the Supreme Court’s decision on the Travel Ban; members joined several amicus briefs against the ban

Cities for Action is deeply disappointed by the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the President’s Travel Ban. Despite what this ruling says, discrimination against Muslims is wrong and un-American. Members of the Cities for Action coalition joined several amicus briefs opposing the Travel Ban and fought back against the first iteration of the ban at airports in our cities and counties. Despite this setback, mayors and county executives across the country remain committed to building inclusive communities and protecting the rights of our Muslim and immigrant neighbors.
