Cities nationwide are taking action on immigration by launching municipal IDs for all residents regardless of immigration status.
In New York City, it’s been a resounding success, with over 10% of eligible residents applying for municipal ID’s in just one year. From increasing access to healthcare, education and financial services to providing benefits for all residents, the municipal id “is widely known as a sign of belonging, a key to services, a source of local pride, and the best deal in town.” Join New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, New Haven, Newark, Roselle and other cities that have launched municipal IDs.
