The Cities for Action coalition commends the House’s passage of the American Dream and Promise Act, which would bring dignity and safety to millions. These immigrants and their families generate over $75 billion in spending power and produce substantial contributions to our communities and local economies. We urge the Senate to pass this legislation and provide life-changing protections for an estimated 2.5 million immigrants who have called our nation home for many years.
